This panorama shows Spencer Beach Park, one of the northernmost sandy beaches on Hawaii Island. From here the coast become increasingly rocky as one heads up to Upolu Point and the northernmost tip of Hawaii Island. There are not many facilities at the beach, no hotels, and it is quite a relaxing place to be.

Panorama Spencer Beach Park on the northern border of South Kohala on Hawaii Island. Spencer Beach is just north of Hapuna Beach State Park and the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. Thankfully not many people from this hotel resort come to Spencer Beach.

Travel and Getting There:
Take Highway 19 north from Kailua-Kona. Continue north on H270 where H19 heads inland for Waimea. Spencer Beach Park is just past Kawaihae.
