This beach was not marked on the map of Hawaii I was using, though almost all the other little bays and beaches are. Maybe it is because it is part of the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai resort, and not open to the general public. This panoramic picture reveals a lovely white sand beach and clear blue seas. Just behind the hedgerow at the back of the beach are luxury holiday apartments, golf courses and everything one might expect at a luxury resort.

Both these hotel beach resorts and Kahuwai Bay are about 13 miles north of Kailua-Kona on H19.
