This panoramic image was shot on Lua Kula Street in Waikoloa. The golf course of the Waikoloa Golf Club lies on both sides of the road. There is an electric buggy crossing built across the road for those who play golf here to get from one green to the next. One wonders who has right of way, the cars, the buggies of the golf ball. If you look a the satellite view of the golf course, then the green cultivated grass stands out in striking contrast to the surrounding black lava. It is amazing what the demands dictated by small, dimpled, white balls can do to an area.

Travel and Getting There:
Take Highway 19 north from Kailua-Kona and turn right onto Waikola Road just after passing the junction for the Royal Waikoloan and the Hilton Waikoloan Village resorts. Waikoloa and the Waikoloa Golf Course are about 6 miles along the road.
