This panoramic picture of Parker Square was taken quite late in the afternoon. The sun was beginning to drop towards the Kohala Mountains which can be seen to the north in this image. When I was there Parker Square had a number of little boutiques selling a variety of items, many of which seemed targeted to tourists. I have not been able to place Parker Square accurately on the map as the satellite image on the Google Map does not (yet) have the resolution to zoom in on Waimea far enough to spot it from the air.

Panorama of Parker Square in Waimea. This is a 17,642 square-foot retail and commercial office with a number of small boutiques and other shops. In 2001, Parker Ranch negotiated the sale of Parker Square to Kauai-based Niu Pia Farms Ltd. The Parker Ranch Visitor Centre and Museum are nearby.

Travel and Getting There:
Parker Square is in Waimea just west of the junction of the H190 and H19 opposite Waimea Park. The shopping area faces Kawaihae Road and is next to Opelo Road.
