I think this panorama was taken from somewhere near to Kohala Ranch on the Kohala Ranch Road, though it may have been on the Ala Kahua (time to invest in a hand held GPS system and a notebook). It was late in the evening and I wanted to get up higher than the H270 road to see the view down along the coast. The road here rises quite quickly offering panoramic views over the individual lots in the area.

Take the H19 (north from Kailua-Kona) to Kawaihea. From here head north on the H270
