Jubilee Gardens - FURTHER INFORMATION

Jubilee Gardens - London visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Jubilee Gardens' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Greater London.

The Jubilee Gardens cover a small area next to the London Eye and London Aquarium on the South Bank of the Thames in Lodnon. The Jubilee Gardens were created in 1977 to mark the Silver Jubilee of Elizabeth II. Within the gardens are memorials to the International Brigades of the Spanish Civil War, especially the British Battalion, which took heavy casualties. Jubilee Gardens are popular both with Londoners and visiting tourists, especially during the summer months.

At the moment Jubilee Gardens are an open grassed area, but there are plans to convert it into a world class gardens with various walkways and plantings, adding to the scenery of the South Bank.
