Padstow Harbour - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
Panorama taken from the harbour wall of Padstow Harbour in Cornwall. The tide is low and from this point you get a clear panoramic picture over the bay and the mouth of the River Camel on which Padstow is built. You can see what the bay is like at high tide from the satellite view on the Google map of the area.

Padstow is a popular holiday destination on the north coast of Cornwall. The town is at the mouth of the Camel River and grew up around fishing, and there is still an active fishing fleet here today. The marina in the Inner Harbour is also full of sailing yachts and leisure boats. Within the town are numerous small hotels, holiday cottages and Bed and Breakfast places.
For tourists, the town is full of art galleries and shops, many of which line the Inner Harbour. Much of Padstow is built on the hillside with views overlooking the bay. There are regular ferries from Padstow across the Camel to Rock.
