View Over Portland Bill Lighthouse - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
Well, it was there so it had to be done. There were convenient climbing holes cut into the rock and it was so inviting. There was a sign also carved into the rock noting that it was at one's own risk (you can just make it out in this picture), but I think it was well worth it. As you can see from the picture, the panoramic view over Portland Bill from the top of the rock is fantastic. As I said, it had to be done. I wonder if they will put seating up here during the sailing events to be held around Portland Bill and Weymouth during the 2012 Olympics.
