Poole Harbour - Windsurfing - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT

This panorama was taken at around 8pm on a very windy day, about 40 minutes later than the other image at the same place. As you can see by comparing the two images, the weather conditions and cloud cover can change very quickly here!

Poole Harbour - Windsurfing - FURTHER INFORMATION

Poole Harbour - Windsurfing - Poole visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Poole Harbour - Windsurfing' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Dorset.

Another panorama showing the windsurfing and kitesurfing late in the evening in Poole Harbour. This part of the harbour is known as Whitely Lake / Blackpool and is very shallow, sheltered from swell and waves, but exposed for wind, making it an ideal learning area and safe even on very windy days. There is another panorama of kitesurfers taken earlier in the day at the same place.
