The approach to Bournemouth Pier has contains a number of tourist attractions and things to do. Shown in this panorama is a merry-go-round fair ride, the Bournemouth Aquarium and the amusement arcade at the beach end of the pier. The approach to Bournemouth Pier links the Bournemouth Pleasure Gardens (sometimes called the Lower Gardens) to Bournemouth Pier and the beach. The beach extends either side of the pier. To the left the promenade runs along East Undercliff to Boscombe Pier and beach and then on towards Hengistbury Head. To the right the beach passes Alum Chine and Durley Chine before passing into Poole and continuing past Branksome Chine to Sandbanks beach and Poole Harbour.Travel and Getting There:
The nearest parking for Bournemouth Beach is either in the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) car park, the Bournemouth Pavilion Car Park or the car park next to the Royal Bath hotel.
