This panoramic image was taken from the path that ascends from Bournemouth Pier to the top of the cliffs above Bournemouht beach on the way to Westcliff. On the way the path passes by the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) and overlooks Bournemouth Bay.

This panorama shows the view over Bournemouth Bay from a vantage point next to the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC). The path leads up from Bournemouth Pier to the top of Westcliff. From here there is a clear view along the along beach. To the left is Bournemouth Pier and the bay curves all the way round past Boscombe to Hengistbury Head. In the other direction the sandy beach continues to Sandbanks beach in Poole. From here a chain ferry takes people over the entrance of Poole Harbour to Shell Bay and the Isle of Purbeck, which curves out into the bay as seen in this picture.
