This was my starting point for exploring Ayutthaya after a 2 hour train ride from Bangkok. They provided a number of very useful guides and maps showing what was around the area.

Panorama inside the exhibition museum about Ayutthaya at the Ayutthaya branch of the Tourism Authority of Thailand. The exhibition covers some of the history and artifacts of the city. Other parts of the complex contain arts galleries, hands on children's activities and a lot of useful information about the hotels, attractions and events happening in the area. The office itself has a number of useful guides and maps and booklets with information about the main temples and other sites, as well as a cultural calendar and local hotels.
