Cala Santanyi is a short drive from the town of Santanyi in the South West of Mallorca ( majorca ). The rocky cala has a fine sand beach which stretches back some 100 meters and easily accommodates the holiday makers staying at the small number of hotels on the beach.

The beach has a selection of cafes and restaurants. A coastal path enables you to walk around the Northern side of the cala where there is some lovely snorkeling. Fresh clean sand and water, and the geographic location of the cala makes this one of the top beaches on the island in terms of quality and accessibility.

Cala Santanyi is south of Santanyi. From Palma de Mallorca, 56km to the west, take the MA-19 past Lucmajor and on to Santanyi. From here follow the MA-6102 (Carretera de la Cala Figuera) south about 3km to Cala Santanyi itself. To the north lie both Manacor (36km) and Felantix (14km). From both these towns take the MA-14 to Santanyi and then follow the directions south as above.
