This image was taken in the late morning. By now Market Place had become a steady stream of slow moving traffic. This panorama is an attempt to show the area around the Blandford Forum Parish Church (BFPC), but there was really nowhere to stand around the church itself to show the full building, which is built on a raised area next to the road.Market Place - Further Information
This panorama was taken from on Market Place outside the front of church of St. Peter and St. Paul in Blandford Forum, also known as the Blandford Forum Parish Church. The church is built on a raised area giving a good view along the busy road. A little further down is the Town Hall (Corn Exchange). The church was built between 1733-9 by the Bastard brothers following devastating fires in 1731 that destroyed much of the town. There is another panorama taken Inside the church and one taken from the rear of the church which gives a much better view of the building.Travel Directions and Getting There:
