This panorama is from Son Sierra de Marina beach, a natural beach on the north of Mallorca. It is not maintained and there are no facilities on the beach or any hotels in the nearby town. The beach is a naturist beach and is backed by light dunes. It is part of the wild north area which has some of the best beaches on the island. This beach extends almost unbroken all the way round the bay to Alcudia Beach. Son Sierra de Marina is a purpose built Spanish resort town, which means there are just private houses and some restaurants. The beach is often windy in the afternoon with a strong on shore breeze. This makes it ideal for kite surfing and there are school doing that on the beach.

From here you can walk many miles on natural beaches to both West and East of the town. The town has a small marina with small day boats in it. A location for people who love the beach more than the bars. Ideal for families and couples.

Take the Ma-12 road from Can Picafort to Arta and you will find the turn off for Son Sierra de Marina.
