Salginatobel Bridge - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
The Salginatobel Bridge, built in arch over the Salgina Stream, is located a few kilometers from Schiers, in the Prättigau Valley, Canton of Graubunden, Switzerland.
Bridge built by architect Robert Maillart, in arched cement crosses the Salgina gorge more than 90 meters high, unites the villages of Schieres and Schuders is considered a historical landmark of international engineering.
The Salginatobel Bridge is considered "International Civil Engineering Landmark" was built to replace a spectacular arch bridge, which was used to connect the villages of Shiers and Schuders, for more than 60 years.
