The Olympic Stadium (Estadi Olumpic Lluis Companys) in Barcelona stands on Muntanya de Montjuic (muntanya de Montjuïc). It was built for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, and has a capacity for 55,000 spectators, which can be increased to 77,000 with temporary seating. This is one of the principle stop off points for tours around Montjuïc, with bus loads of tourists exploring the Olympic Village.
