Barcelona Beaches extend east from Platja Barceloneta for about 4 kilometers along the city front to the Por Esportiu de Sant Adria. The Olympic Marina and Olympic Village is built along the seafront a little to the east. There has been a massive clean up operation in recent years and the beaches are now a popular attraction for both visitors and locals alike.

A cable car close to the beach carries visitors over the World Trade Center to Castell de Montjuïc and the other attractions on Montjuïc. Naturally, the sea front is a prime site for numerous hotels and apartments.

All of the beaches along the seafront offer numerous facilities including Drinks & Ice-creams, showers, sun beds, lifeguards and sports areas.
