Rambla del Mar - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
The Rambla del Mar is a very relaxing place to be. It is worth taking the time to pause here and admire the views over the harbour and the lack of traffic noise. As the picture shows, this wooden and iron bridge forms a vital link over the harbour. It is equipped with a couple of lower viewing platforms with seating encouraging people to slow down and rest.
Rambla del Mar - FURTHER INFORMATION

The Rambla del Mar is a pedestrian walkway that links the Harbbour Plaza next to the Mirador de Colom (Christopher Columbus Moonument) to the Multicines (cinema complex), the Barcelona Imax theatre and the Barcelona Aquarium. The Rambla de Mar forms a kind of extension to La Rambla, the most famous street of Barcelona.
The Rambla del Mar offers an escape from the continuous noise of the city traffic and great panoramic views over the harbour. The World Trade Centre is just over the water on a large pier to the southwest. Next to this is the tower that carries the cable car from Barcelona beach to near the Castell de Montjuic on Montjuic, the hill to the right of the tower. In the other direction is the Darsena Nacional and harbour marinas. The bridge in the middle of the Rambla del Mar sometimes opens to allow tall masted sailing boats and large pleasure yachts in and out of the marina.
