Spa is a small town southeast of Liège in the Province of Leige, Belgium. The city is nestled in a valley in the picturesque and forested hills known as the Ardennes. Spa is most famous for the hot springs, after which the town is named, and almost the entire wealth and existence of the town revolves around the spas and baths found there. The quiet town is full of historic charm. Today it is also known for the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, which hosts the annual Formula One Belgian Grand Prix.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Spa is about 47km from Liege. From Liege, take the E40/Aachen/E42/Verviers and then the A27/E42 which passes Verviers on the way to Spa.
