Visé is a French-speaking city in Belgium on the river Meuse, in the province of Liège. This is the northernmost city in Walloonia, close to the Belgian-Dutch border. The city grew up around a wooden bridge that crossed the River Muse. Nowadays Visé is a popular destination in the summer with people coming to enjouy the surrounding countryside and the water sports centre.
The main attractions of Visé include the Collégiale Saints Martin et Hadelin, Gilden Museum, Shooting Guilds and the 17C Town Hall. The city has numerous hotels to suit all budgets, among which are the Hotel La Mosa and Le Romane Hotel.
