Sant Antoni de Portmany (English: San Antonio) is the largest town on the northern coast of Ibiza. The town is famous for the numerous large night clubs that line the sea front. These include some of the largest night clubs in the world like Pacha, Privilege, Space, Amnesia and Eden and Es Paradis. Sant Antoni has a district set aside for clubs and bars, and a vast number of budget hotels to cater for the young Europeans who descend on the town each summer.San Antonio Nighclubs
Most of the clubs and bars of Sant Antoni are found in the 'West End'. This is a couple of streets wide centered around Carrer de Santa Agnès. Here the music continues all night long ranging from the Dance and House music Ibiza is famed for to Rock and indie music. The two main large clubs in San Antonio are the Eden and Es Paradis, which regularly host concerts by world class DJ's.
Sant Antoni de Portmany Beaches
The main beach of San Antonio runs along the back of the bay. However there are numerous other beaches and calas nearby. To the east are Calo des Moro and Cala Gració. Heading out west from San Antonio are S'Estanyol, Cala Pinet, Cala de Bou, Calo d s'Oli, Port des Torrents and Cala Bassa. Many of these have ferry services that run regularly during the summer months. Many are also heavily developed with large hotels.
Travel and Getting there
By Road: Take the C-731 road from Eivissa (Ibiza Town).
Ferry: Direct ferries link Sant Antoni de Portmany with Barcelona, Valencia and Denia on the Spanish mainland.
