This panorama was an attempt to show the view back down over Es Jondal and the bay in which it rests. The area around here is lovely, but obviously the preserve of the wealthy, as the road is lined with gated communities and luxury villas. These look spectacular in the satellite view of the Google map of Ibiza. As shown in this panoramic image, the road here is quite narrow, lined with a drystone wall, typical of Ibiza.

This panoramic image was taken from 'Camino des Jondal', which rises steeply up the hills behind Es Jondal west of Ibiza Town on the southern coast of Ibiza. The road up the hillside is lined with luxury villas, and just before this point the road does a sharp hairpin bend. From here there is a good view over the bay. To the left of it is the hill known as Puig des Jondal, which leads down to Punta des Jondal, one of the two points that protects the bay.

Travel Directions and Getting There
By Road: Take the PM803 north from Ibiza Town (south from San Antonio) to Sant Josep to Torente de sa Coya Sant. Here a road heads south past the Serra de sa Cova Santa caves towards the Es jondal on the coast.
