From Inverness take the A9 and then A835 past Dingwall. The unmarked road to Little Scatwell turns left off the A835 just west of Contin, opposite the Achilty Hotel. An alternative route is to turn off the A835 to Marybank and then follow the road Loch Achonachie to Loch Meig. At the Loch Meig turn right over the dam and follow the track round to Little Scatwell. Little Scatwell is about 25 miles from Inverness.
