This panorama was taken on the junction of Oxford. Banbury Road is one of the main arterial routes into Oxford from the A40. The new looking building on the northeast corner of the junction is the Nuclear Physics department of Oxford University.
On the opposite side of Banbury Road is St. Giles Church. The street is also lined with numerous hotels, including the Cromwell Lodge Hotel, Cotswold House Hotel, Cotswold Lodge Classic Hotel and the famous Old Parsonage Hotel. Banbury Street continues south becoming St. Giles Street, which terminates at the Ashmolean Museum, close to the Randolph Hotel.
Keeble Road runs east from here to Parks Road, joining it close to the University Parks and the University and Pitt Rivers Museums.
