This panorama of Midsummer Common was taken in the afternoon. It is a huge open area northeast of the city center. This panoramic image was taken from the northern edge of the common near to the River Cam and some of the rowing club buildings can be seen on the other side of the river. The area is used for a fair, as seen in the satellite image on the Google map.

Midsummer Common is just to the east of Jesus Green in Cambridge. This panoramic image shows the open space of this common, which is left fallow most of the time and used for recreation and grazing.

From the M11 take the A1303 into Cambridge. This becomes a ring road round the north of the town. Turn right towards the city center down Victoria Avenue, which runs down the western edge of Midsummer Common.
