Upper Castle Park descends down the hill behind Colchester Castle Museum in Colchester. The park contains a Victorian Bandstand. Paths lead through the park to Colchester Castle Museum itself and to Sensory Gardens and Hollytrees Museum. Below the park is Lower Castle Park which contains a boating lake and reaches the River Colne. There is a panorama looking over the Upper Castle Park from the grounds behind Colchester Castle.

Train: Colchester ~Rail Station
Walk: There are entrances to the park from Ryegate Road and the Castle Museum.
