Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
This panorama shows the outside of St Mary's Church in Wivenhoe. The outside is mostly faced with flint, and has a grand clock tower. It has survived both fire and earthquakes over the centuries. This panoramic image was taken very late in the day one summer evening, and the sun had already sunk behind the surrounding hills.
