Notre Dame from Quai de Montebello - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
I would have liked to take a panorama directly opposite the side of the Notre Dame de Paris, but there was not a good vantage point there because the top of the wall was lined with tall boxes. This was the nearest I could get, where steps lead down to the walkway along the Seine, and where numerous people paused to take pictures of the side of Notre Dame. This panoramic image shows both the side of Notre Dame and views along the River Seine.

Notre Dame from Quai de Montebello - Paris visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Notre Dame from Quai de Montebello' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Paris.
The Quai de Montebello in Paris is another classic spot from which to take photographs of the Notre Dame de Paris. From this vantage point the whole side of the 130m long cathedral is visible, including the 60m tall towers, 90m high spire and the vast flying buttresses that hold the church up. Other good vantage point include the Place du Parvis Notre-Dame for a view of the front of the cathedral, Square Jean XIII for a view of the rear, and the Pont au Double.
Both the Pont au Double and the Pont de l'Archeveche link the Quai de Montebello with the Île de la Cité.
