Notre Dame from Pont au Double - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
The Pont au Double, from which this panorama was taken, is right by the Notre Dame and gives a good view of the side of the church and the numerous tourist cruise boats ploughing their way along the River Seine. From here is another view of the 60m towers, 90m tall spire and flying buttresses of the church. You can also see the massive rose window in the south transept of the church.

Notre Dame from Pont au Double - Paris visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Notre Dame from Pont au Double' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Paris.
The Pont au Double crosses the River Seine to link the south bank with the Place du Parvis Notre-Dame and the Notre Dame de Paris cathedral, one of the most visited tourist attractions of Paris, on the Île de la Cité. The bridge also provides a good vantage point from which to view the cathedral and the narrower part of the Seine that flows down the southern side. Further downriver is Petit Pont. The Quai de Montebello runs along the south bank, and one can get a good view of the side of Notre Dame from along there. This also passes Pont l'Archeveche which crosses over to Square Jean XXIII, a small garden at the rear of Notre Dame.
