Pont St Louis - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
This panorama was taken from the middle of Pont St Louis on a bright, sunny spring day. There is barely a cloud in the sky over Paris. The panoramic image shows the River Seine and the two small island in it, the Ile de Cite and the Ile St Louis. The picture also shows the Hotel de Ville on the far banks.

Pont St. Louis (St Louis Bridge) is the small pedestrianized bridge in Paris that crosses the River Seine linking the Ile St Louis with Île de la Cité. Musicians sometimes play here. This panorama was taken from the middle of the bridge, showing the view down the river between the two islands. The rear of the Notre Dame de Paris cathedral can just be seen poking out behind the buildings that line the banks of the Île de la Cité, into the gardens of Square Jean XXIII. The prominent building on the north bank of the Seine visible between the two Iles is the Hôtel de Ville, Paris' City Hall.
