The Palais Royal in Paris has fantastic gardens (jardins). In times past these were hotbeds for sedition and plot planning, but today they are a place to relax in the middle of the city. In the middle of the gardens is a large fountain. At the southern end of the gardens of the Palais Royal is a grand colonnade. The fountains shown in this picture are near the middle of the long formal gardens.
