Sacré-Coeur Basilica - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
This panorama was taken from the right of the Sacre Coeur Basilica. The church is so tall, that it is the best vantage point within the compound to get most of the building in. From here you get a good understanding of just how steep this hill is. The Sacre Coeur is on a very commanding position overlooking Paris, almost the place one would expect to find a castle.

The hill descends from the Sacré-Coeur Basilica (French: Basilique du Sacré-Coeur) is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Paris. It stands on top of the hill overlooking the Square Willette, close to the Place du Tertre and the church of Saint Pierre de Montmartre. There is a good panoramic view over Paris from a platform just below the Sacré-Coeur Basilica.
