The Pont de Grenelle is a bridge across the River Seine in Paris linking the Hose of Radio France on the north with the Quai de Grenelle on the southeast. The iconic Eiffel Tower is visible upriver. The narrow causeway in the middle of the Seine shown in this panoramic image connects the Pont de Grenelle with the Pont de Bir Hakiem. This is well off the tourist routes, and not many visitors come here.
A 9m high scale model of the Statue of Liberty in New York stands here facing in the direction of New York. It was given by the US to France in the 19C for the Universal Exhibition.
