Place du Palais Royal in Paris lies in front of the Palais Royal. All the buildings on the square are imposing, and include the Louvre des Antiquaires antique shopping complex and the luxury boutique Hotel du Louvre. The southern side borders the Louvre Museum itself, and the arches though the tall building lead through to the Cour Carée of the Louvre complex.

The Hotel du Louvre on the western edge of the square shown in this picture is a luxury boutique hotel. The hotel has 177 rooms and suites and 8 meeting venues, making it popular with tourist and business visitors alike.
