Camp Cove is both a beach and district in Sydney on the southern side of Sydney Harbour. This panoramic picture shows the beach and the surrounding area. Camp Cove is in a residential part of Sydney, and this is not a tourist area, though it is well served by buses. There are often pleasure boats and yachts at anchor in the clear waters of Camp Cove, and the sandy beach is popular with local families.

Camp Cove beach is close to South Head and there is a lovely walk along the cliff tops giving stunning view from here of Sydney Harbour and over to North Head.
