The Cour Napoleon contains the famous Pyramid or Pyramide, which is the entrance to the Louvre Museum. The Louvre houses the Mona Lisa among many other famous works, and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Paris. Part of the museum also contains the Apartments of Napoleon, though the remains of Napoléon himself are found in the Eglise du Dome.
To the left of the pyramid is the Richealieu wing of Le Louvre, which contains Napoleon's Apartments. To the right is the Denon Wing which houses the Mona Lisa and many other paintings from the 13th Century onwards. Joining the tow is the Sully wing, and through the arch is the Cour Carrée.
