Temburong District is in the eastermost part of Brunei. It is separated from the rest of Burnei by the Malaysian state of Sarawak. Temburong District contains the Ulu Temburong National Park (formerly the Batu Apoi Forest Reserve), and the district is rich in untouched wildlife and unspoiled natural areas and lowland rainforests. As such, the region is botanically and zoologically very rich and echo-tourism is a growing business. The region can only be reaced by boat.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE

Ulu Temburong is only accessible by boat. From the capital of Bandar Seri Begawan water taxis take about one hour to ply the route to the main town of Bangar in Temburong District.
