Geordie Bay - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
This panorama was taken overlooking Geordie Bay, which has one of the largest and most popular sandy beaches on Rottnest Island. The panorama shows the view from the road that runs along the back of the bay, which is full of pleasure yachts and sailing ships. The far end of the bay is highly developed with holiday accomodation, as can be seen from the satellite view of the Google map. In the foreground is a person beside his bicycle, the most popular from of transport on the island.
