Darling Harbour - Harbourside - FURTHER INFORMATION
Darling Harbour - Harbourside - Sydney visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Darling Harbour - Harbourside' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from New South Wales.
Panorama taken from the west dock of Darling Harbour, just south of Pyrmont bridge. From here, outside the Harbourside Indoor Shopping Center, the skyline is dominated by the skyscrapers and towers of the central business district across on the eastern dockside. Along the quayside are mooring jetties for larger tourist ships and ferries. Smaller jetties for private craft are found to the north of Pyrmont bridge beyond the National Maritime Museum.
Harbourside is central to the redevelopment of Sydney dockland following the 2000 Olympic games. The Conference & Exhibition Centre is adjacent, along with extensive accommodation and all the leisure, dining and entertainment facilities to compliment a major tourism and entertainment venue. The monorail stops nearby and conveniently links all the major venues here with the business district, marinas, parking lots and transport links.
The Harbourside complex itself, seen here with it's distinctive glass facade, offers a specialty international food court, ten pin bowling alley, function center catering to over 1000 guests, apparel and jewelery boutiques - even a Boeing 737 flight simulator.
