The Dolomites are a range of mountains found in the Italian Alps. They are found in the provinces of Belluno, of Bolzano-Bozen, and of Trento - all in north-eastern region of Italy. The Dolomites are defined as lying between the northern and southern boundaries of the Puster Valley (or Val Pusteria) and the Sugana Valley (or Val Sugana).
Outstanding climbing and skiing are on offer here but the Dolomites are equally as popular with holidaymakers who come for the panoramic and dramatic scenery all year round. Whether taking in the snow-capped peaks in winter or wandering around the many hiking trails throughout the summer months, the Dolomites are a breath-taking location in which to base your holiday.
