This is a relatively secluded and quiet beach, but worth the effort to get to. There are no amenities or facilities. At low tide it is possible to reach the rocks at the bottom of Shakespeare Cliff. At the other end of Cooks Beach is the Purangi Reserve and beach.
Car: From the 25 highway, take the Hot Water Beach Road and then the Purangi Road to Cooks Beach. Then follow the Captain Cook Road to the end.
