Taken late in the afternoon, this panorama shows the approach back up to the parking lot at White Domes when you come out from the circular trail that winds round the formations. Note the people on the rock, which gives a sense of scale in these impressive formations. Even the cars are dwarfed by the sandstone domes.

These dramatic rock formations are an 11 mile round trip from the Visitors Center in Valley of Fire State Park. At White Domes there is a trail, parking and picnic area. On the way to road passes Mouse's Tank, Rainbow Vista, Fire Canyon and Silica Dome, which all have parking nearby.

White Domes are at the end of a 5 mile drive north of the Visitors Center in Valley of Fire State Park.
