Andratx is a old port on the South West corner of the island. It is one of the few ports left on the island which still operates a substantial fishing fleet. These leave in the morning, and return during the day. Some of the fresh fish is sold on the quayside. Some of the best traditional restaurants are situated in the port.

In recent years the port has been extended into one of the largest marinas on the island. One of the exceptional points about the marina is that it is possible to walk look among the boats. Very closely linked is Camp de Mar, one of the best beaches on the island.
