The Boulder City Railway Museum lies at the heart of Boulder City, the town part way between Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam. It displays a number of old trains a rolling stock from a bygone era, and is one of the main tourist attractions in Boulder City.
The museum also runs a number of scenic tourist rides depart from the Boulder City Depot of the Nevada Southern Railway Museum. This 45 minute ride travels 7 miles along the refurbished historic Boulder Branch Line to Railroad Pass, which sits in the River Mountain Range. Passengers can either ride in refurbished and enclosed Pullman coaches that date back to 1911, or brave an outdoor, open top coach.
