This is the view as you climb the steep footpath to the viewing point known as Mirador des Colomer, at Cap Formentor on the north eastern tip of the island.
The 350m high limestone cliffs on this wild peninsular create spectacular rock formations with stunning views from the top towards the bay of Pollensa.

Other good panoramic views of the whole Cap de Formentor Peninsula are from either the Talaia d'Albercutx, an old tower set high on the peninsula, or the Mirador de Mal Pas viewpoint. Further along the peninsula is Cala Fiquera (Cala Figuera) one of the most inaccessible calas on Mallorca. For more information see the main Cap de Formentor page.

Take the Ma-13A from Palma to Alcúdia and then continue north round the Bay of Pollença on the Ma-2220 to the Port de Pollença. From here a narrow road leads off to the Peninsula de Formentor. An alternative route leaves the Ma-13A Crestaxt and takes the Ma-2200 through Pollença to the Port de Pollença.
