St Mary's Cathedral - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
St Mary's Cathedral is the Catholic Cathedral in Sydney. This panorama shows the interior of the church, taken in the nave. To the north is the high altar and to the south is a large stained glass rose window over the main entrance. There is a large crypt with some beautiful tiled floors and walls. At the time I visited, part of the nave was being refurbished, as was boarded off.
Designed by Edmund Blackett, his later designs includes St George's Anglican Cathedral in Perth.
