Loch Lomond at Duck Bay - FURTHER INFORMATION
Loch Lomond at Duck Bay - Loch Lomond visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Loch Lomond at Duck Bay' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Argyll.
Ducks Bay is near the southern end of Loch Lomond in Scotland. Where there used to be a marina at Ducks Bay there are now a number of bars and night clubs. The three star Duck Bay Loch Lomond Hotel is on the banks. At the southern end Loch Lomond is the town of Balloch, which, with Balloch Castle is becoming a focus for tourism. From here the 'Maid of the Loch' departs for cruises around Loch Lomond, and Loch Lomond Seaplanes depart from Balloch Pier.
Loch Lomond is also very popular for sea kayaking and other sea sports. This panoramic image was taken from such a kyak on the loch.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
By boat or Kayak. From Glasgow take the M8 and A82 to Balloch, where there are launching areas for boats and sea kayaks. Paddle to the middle of the loch.
