Coombs Old Country Market was 35 years old in 2008. Famous for fresh and organic food products from around the world and the goats that live on the roof, the market continues to be one of the main tourist attractions in the Coombs area. It became a tourist attraction not only for this but also for the goats that live on the roof of the shop in the summer eating the grass that grows upon it. It is often referred to as 'Goats on Roof' as a result. This roof can be seen in the panorama outside Coombs Old Country Market
Inside the Market are the freshest local produce as well as a selection of items from around the world. It has an extensive delicatessen specializing in international cheeses and meats. The ice cream and cake store are very popular, as is the restaurant which provides a substantial rest stop for those traveling up or down island.
Behind the Coombs Old Country Market are numerous other shops selling arts and crafts, and in the next door lot is the new Coombs Emporium development.
