It is driftwood by definition, but 'drift-trees' or 'drift-logs' would probably be a more apt description. Driftwood on Vancouver Island often comes with attitude and big ideas as whole trees are washed up by storms. Some of this is natural, and some is the result of logs gone astray from the logging industry on the island.
